Sr.BI Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing the New ELT/ETLs, Modifying the existing ELTs/ETLs.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Build data processing, automation, and analytics solutions using Python.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Power BI and other visualization tools.
• Analyze business data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvements.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Take ownership of deliverables and drive them to completion with speed and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on execution and results.
• Be Hands on with SQL.
• Readiness to use multiple DBs like Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake, Databricks, AzureSQL, Fabrics and Redshift as and when required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Engineering.
• Strong expertise in SQL (query writing, optimization, data analysis).
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI/visualization platforms.
• Good understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Proven ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) effectively to improve productivity and solution delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-driven with a can-do attitude, strong ownership mindset, and ability to turn around deliverables quickly.
• Ability to work in an agile team.
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills.

Preferred:

• Not mandatory, but it will be good to have knowledge on HCM applications such as Workday, ADP, Ultipro, UKG, Oracle Cloud HCM, and SuccessFactors.
• Knowledge of data lakes, lakehouses, and modern analytics platforms.
• Experience working in SaaS, HR Tech, or product-based organizations.
